What should be the next step in case I do not manage to clear any management entrance exam?

7 years agoIf you are unable to clear management entrance examination and still want to pursue MBA then you should either take a year drop or settle with average dropping a year has little risk. But if you are determined enough to crack examination like CAT then go and prepare for it once again. Many colleges have management quota seats. If money is not your issue then you should take admission in these types of colleges.
Some average management colleges have good placement record. There is nothing wrong in pursuing MBA from these types of institutes.

Not sure, what you should be doing if you don't clear the entrance exam, but I'm sure that these tips from my experience will definitely make sure that you will clear the exam.

Exam preparation tips for MBA:
Tip 1:
If you plan to get an MBA degree from the very beginning then it is preferable to get into a Bachelor's degree course which has at least one of the business subjects. It becomes an advantage. Although doing Bachelor's degree in a business subject is not a compulsion.

I think if you really want to go to a top business school and you could not prepare for that particular time then if you are seriously into studies, you should prepare for next year. But if you are just imagining by dropping a year you can get good college, it is not possible. If you seriously want to study then drop otherwise why to waste a year. Get an average college and study hard. In the meantime, you can advance your skills and go for summer internships and so on. In this way, you can make your career.
