What should be the plans for jam 2017 for a student of 1st year?

I have passed 10th class from an icse school with 90% and 12th from an isc school with 80%. i am a now going to be a b.tech student in mechanical field from a govt. college in u.p. through upsee i want to do phd from iit bombay. i have got 117 in jee advanced 2013
