What should be the preparation strategy for DUET?

Delhi University conducts its own exam for some programmes of UG and PG level. Time management is necessary not only in the exam hall but also during the exam preparation. Try to give time to every chapter so that one can score good marks in the exam. For time management during the exam, the student must have to practice previous year question paper and mock test for getting an idea about the exam and checking in given time how much question student can solve it and it helps to solve question fastly. Prepare notes for hard topics so that at the last moment before the exam, you can easily revise the topics. Always follow the syllabus and prepare according to the syllabus so that no topic is missed. The exam is not so hard, it is just for checking that how good in studies a student is but a candidate has to be in top rank so that admission should be done in the preferred branch.

Hello, Any entrance test is always traumatic and full of anxiousness contrary to what one should be. Question that arises is what strategy one should follow. Whether it's DUET or JEE or any other examination, following tips will help you a great deal and avoiding all unwanted things and get you success in entrance examination. First & foremost is the study of syllabus. Invariably, it's available easily and consists of subjects that you have already studied. Analyse this to work out which topics you are confident and which you will like to brush up. Using this most vital input, make a time table where you would complete studying syllabus all over again with enough time for mock exam. Mock examinations will make you test Waters in almost similar environment and prepare you for actual examination in best possible way. Best wishes.

Delhi University Entrance Test is not much difficult exam if you are early prepared. This exam just tests you that how seriously you have studied during your BA program. Despite, there is not such syllabus for DUET exam but still, I would recommend you to follow some steps for ensuring the success: (1) Be thorough with your BA English syllabus (particularly if you are going for MA English Hons). Read diverse critical essays on each text to attain multiplicity of perspective. Those who opted for a different subject in graduation, refer the BA (Hons.) DU syllabus. (2) You should have very strong command on history of Literature and all. For this, you may refer some books like- A short history of English Literature by Sir Ifor Evans OR A brief history of English Literature by Peck and Coyle. (3) Do some extra self-preparation like writing the book reviews, newspaper articles and editorials, etc. Best of luck.
