An SOP should have an introduction that describes who you are and why you have chosen data science, a body that describes your academic and professional objectives, and a conclusion that wraps everything up. The introduction should give a brief history of your field of interest (data science) and explain how you got interested in it. Your education, relevant experiences, and career goals should be described in the main body. The conclusion must summarise your qualifications for the programme and explain why you are a perfect fit for the same. It should be written in a clean and succinct way, without any grammatical or spelling errors.
