    You need to have an optimistic mindset while preparing for the CAT exam. The CAT exam does not only test your knowledge but also your test-taking ability. The exam is a real test of how you will manage your time and efforts to give your best at the deadline. As a CAT aspirant, one must focus on self-improvement; else you will either get stuck with speed issues or get distracted by accuracy. To be successful, you will need to maintain a balance between speed and accuracy. For this, you need to practice as many CAT previous year's questions as you can.     Hi dear, It depends on how you want to SEE it and practice throughout your preparation. CAT exam can become very easy when you work hard. The foundation step to ace the CAT in first attempt is always clearing the basic concepts from all the corners of your syllabus and practicing throughout the duration of your practice. If you are clear about the basics of 12th syllabus of Quantitative Aptitude Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, then you are more than sufficient to appear for CAT.
