The aim is mostly personal, so, check your likes and dislikes. You must also verify your financial status. Sometimes, you may want an immediate job. Your M.Tech/MBA would be only better if you pursue it from a reputed institution.

If you want to go for research or become a professor or want to go for depth knowledge in domain then you can go for M.Tech, but if you want to give your career a boost then go for MBA, and having a technical and management degree surely gives you an edge over others as company gets a dual skilled candidate. Rest depends on your interest and your future goals.
    All the best.

In my view, MBA has a little edge over MS with respect to working skills required in an organisation. MBA will enhance your team building and management skills an add-on to your technical skill. M.Tech will further boost your technical and you will be in your core subject area of interest. At the end, it all depends on your planing of career growth and your interest.

It totally depends on your interest. If you love what you did in Bachelors, then you must follow it up with M.Tech but if you did B.Tech like many others (because you had to do something) then you can plan on checking out what MBA has to offer for you. It's your choice, so decide which one you can take through technical or managerial.

This would depend on your interest areas, and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Technical / research / academics area, then M.Tech/ MS is better. However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better. Salary is a function of many factors. It is advisable to pursue a course of your interest area, as chances of greater success will be there in doing what you like to do than doing something that doesn't meet your aspirations.

MBA will give you managerial skills and you already have technical skills, so you will be having better job opportunities, also you'll be above the entry level employees with you managerial skills.

A B.Tech would be sufficient to start your own business. You may get in touch with agencies such as MSME or at a state level. If you feel you can contribute further to the growing world of technology after the completion of an M.Tech, M.Tech may be preferred. If you are confident of your skills as a manager, wish to jump to some middle or higher management level and the aim to climb the corporate ladder then MBA is not a bad choice.

I would say, first and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialised degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Whether it be an IT, manufacturing, or R&D driven establishment, there would be requirements for both M. Techs and MBAs. The M. Techs would be more of a subject matter specialist, whereas the MBAs would handle product sales and marketing

Depending on your future goals you may decide. It you want to stick to technology, go for m. Tech. Because MBA students end up studying commerce that you have not yet touched as b. Tech student. Moreover you would end up changing your stream
