What should I choose among UIET, Chandigarh and Amity, Noida for B.Tech to take admission in 2017 after one year drop?
I got 96% in CBSE board and 38337 rank in JEE Mains. Is it a good idea to drop a year?

I don't think it is a good idea to drop a year as there is no surety that next year you are going to get very good score. If you get a good score that's good if you don't then will you drop again? No, you can't keep on doing this again and again.Better would be grab what comes to you this year only and try making best of it.In case your JEE score doesn't let you take admission somewhere, try for admission in some private university where you can get admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
