    Hi,
    To be eligible to sit for IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year, one needs to be:
    An Indian National Citizen
    A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and
    In the age limit of 21-30 years.
    So the first step is to pick up bachelors' degree in any of the arts/commerce/science subjects. You can select any course of your choice, provided you possess keen interest and passion for the subject.
    You could even learn a foreign language and aim for an interpreter's job in the consulates and embassies. Some of the choices in this regard are French, Spanish, German, R

    The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected. I would request aru.chopra to give you detailed information about how to prepare for this exam.

    Hi Divanshi.
    Good determination you want to be an IAS officer. Age limit for IAS is from 21-30yrs. You must be a graduate. You can write this exam only in 4 attempts. You can start your preparation from now onwards. Here you need to take Preliminary one subject of your choice and Mains also a different subject too.
