    I have seen these queries a lot and understand that most of the people who want to be chef are actually seeing the careers abroad, preferably in Canada, USA, UK, Australia and Europe because CHEF is one category which has the highest chances of successful visa and jobs. If that's the case, You must apply for BHMCT programme at LPU and apply for credit transfer. It will give you exposure to all the aspects of hospitality and you can give emphasis on cooking !

    First of all, I would like to congratulate you that you have chosen your career "CHEF" which will be going to bring a bread and butter for you for rest of your life. According to me you should opt for a course Bachelors of hotel management and catering technology (BHMCT). Usually according to the norms of UGC this degree is of 4 years duration that means 8 semesters will be there.     If you want to become a chef, Hotel management is the best course and is in demand these days. Choose a good private college and select your choice of subjects there, they will provide good placements too.
