What should I do after B.Sc in agriculture?

As of now, our world population is gradually increasing. So, in near future there arises food crisis at the moment. They need a graduate or any higher degree with agriculture background so agriculture has booming scope as soon as possible. Alright, so you completed your B.Sc. Agriculture. Want to do higher studies? Go for Post-Graduation-Write the ICAR JRF exam. Secure a rank and you have ample number of subjects to choose from. Okay, so you want to do a PG with Scholarship, try a JRF seat get Rs8600 per month, not enough? Be the best in the country and get into IARI, New Delhi and get a scholarship of Rs12600 per month. PG is done. What is next? A Ph.D. well you can still avail scholarship for that. Want to become a scientist? Yes you can. Want to become a professor? Yes you can. Okay, don't want to get into Higher Studies, Go for State level exams like: Assistant Agricultural officer, Agricultural officer, SEED officer, and lot more. Interested in bank? Oh! They are already waiting for you. Join any bank in officer cadre as specialist officer (Agricultural Field Officer)or as clerk cadre asJunior Agricultural Associate, its completely your choice. Not interested in Banks? Want to do job for central government? - Opportunity There are many government institutions that recruit agriculture graduates like FCI- Food Corporation of India Airports and Sea ports: As plant quarantine officer. And lot more Want to do business? Entrepreneurship? You have already learned commercial agriculture and allied enterprises during your under graduation so just put in all your efforts and learned techniques into it. Interested in entering into private sector? There are numerous private organizations or companies that hire agricultural graduates. You may get one in your campus placement easily.
