What should I do after B.Tech for the same? Which courses and exams do I need to write?
I am a 2nd-year student of mechanical engineering and want to be a merchant navy officer.

You are advised to undergo one-year Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) course on completion of B.Tech mechanical engineering to join merchant navy. You may join any of the Indian Maritimes University affiliated colleges for GME.
