BTech has a definite advantage for UPSC, as you know that a good number of technocrats are found these days. So, you may also have a good advantage. So, begin preparation. Even MBA is also a good idea, if it is from a reputed Institution.

You can prepare for UPSC along with MBA. I will suggest you to do MBA. MBA is somewhat a higher and reputed degree which will open the door for lucrative jobs in the corporate world. That depends on you. If you want to make your career in management field then go for MBA. If you want to go for civil services then go for UPSC. You have to decide.

An MBA makes it smarter to attempt a UPSC exam during the tenure of the study.
If your concentration power is extraordinary then UPSC is better.
