For a bright future you should focus on your strength. It can be dangerous to choose engineering if you are not having interest in it. I would rather suggest you to opt for a career that suits your passion. Example if you love to travel, then you can become an actuarial scientist which is a very successful career.

In my personal experience, engineering will be one of the obvious and natural choices. You can choose electronics and communication, computer Science, information Science, telecommunication, electrical or even mechanical, instrumentation. Engineering definitely has a bright career path and job prospects.
