Hello Vidushi,
It's really admirable that you want to pursue economics.I myself had econ in my 12th. So, the steps are:
1. You need mathematics in your 12th standard
2. Get your Bachelor's degree in Economics (B.Sc/BA in Economics).
3. Get your Masters degree in economics

Yes you can also study BBE after 12th but you also have to complete your Masters degree and crack NET, as they are considered to be the benchmark of lecturers in the academic field.
