Hello,
It completely depend upon the subjects, which you had in your class 11th and 12th. After completing your class 12th, you can also try for government jobs, SSC CHSL, etc.
If you had commerce stream, then you can go with CA, CS, B.Com, etc.

It depends on what were your courses in class 11th and 12th. A career in a similar stream which you had in your class 11th and 12th will help you to succeed. Commerce and science are the two broad categories. In commerce, you can go for arts/design, business, finance, and banking.

I don't recommend polytechnic. This view varies from person to person. Better go for regular course and drop a year only after thinking twice. Competition gets tougher if you drop a year.
