Scope and opportunities are more after MBA. Unless you are passionate about language and want yo make career in English language as a teacher or journalist or writer, it is recommended that you opt for MBA.

If you want to become a lecturer, you have to complete your post-graduation and then you have to appear for UGC NET. UGC NET Exam is for Junior Research fellowship & Assistant professor.

Considering the current trend in the market, MBA seems to have a better edge, but that does not mean that MA in English is not worth learning.

In my opinion, you should go for MBA. Prepare well for Entrance exams and do MBA from Premier institutes. It has great scope. Best of luck !
