What should I do after doing BJMC? Should I go for higher studies in journalism and mass communication?

If you are doing UG in BJMC in the 3rd year, you will get placements offers. If you think to go for a job, you should go on and side by side do your PG or MA. It may be for 1-2 years depending on the institute.
