Dear Naheed, Most of the positions in the government sector are opened by PSUs. You may need to write their competitive examinations, may or may not face interviews too ! For these jobs Post graduation is enough. However, there are openings in research and teaching field too, for those positions, Ph.D. is must as these require a higher level of skill and knowledge. Many great colleges curate this programme for professional outcomes like IITs, DU, PU and LPU !
    Hope this helps

    Hi Dear,
Candidates who want to pursue lectureship in Indian colleges, NET exam is mandatory for them. You can apply for CSIR NET exam, which is a national eligibility test for Science students to fulfill their dream of research fellowship or lectureship. There are also many other benefits of qualifying CSIR NET exam like, you can get a job in PSUs, work in Indian Science CSIR labs, pursue Ph.D. etc.

    Dear,
For the lecturer jobs in government colleges, you should apply for the NET exam and then pursue Ph.D programme. Afterwards, you can apply for the same.
Even with this process, you can apply for private colleges. Nowadays, they do offer a handsome salary to talented and knowledgeable people.
    All the best!

    Hi,
After M.Sc Mathematics to get a government job you can go for the various competitive exams conducted by the government.
