    Hi Arpit,
If you want to do a job in a private bank after MBA in finance then you should be focused on bank's notification as private banks their own online exam and interviews. If you want to increase your knowledge then you can join any certified banking course.
    Thank you.

Most probably, you'll get selected from campus itself.
Then based on your experience you can switch to private banks or some other roles depending on your relevance of experience and your interests.

    Hello Arpit,
Finance is a very vast field. The curriculum that you would be studying over a period of 2 years in MBA will help you land a good job in a private bank. However, there are several profiles that are offered by various private banks including Retail banking, corporate banking, global banking, etc. Depending upon your interest you will have to choose one such field. To further improve your skills, you can give tests for getting certifications like NCFM, FLIP, CFA, etc. All the best.

In FMS, lots of private banks come for recruitments. You could take up finance as your specialisation and then aim to get placed in one of them. FMS has huge opportunities because of its amazing placements, just focus and dedication is required put of the student, the rest is taken care of.
  • Dear Arpit,
There are multiple verticals in private banks such as commercial banking, retail banking, corporate finance etc. At FMS, several private banks come every year to recruit finance graduates, who are interested in these verticals. Hence, the opportunities are tremendous on campus. If you are referring to off-campus placements, you may have to apply to these banks on your own.
