After qualifying IMUCET, you need to appear for the counseling. You need to register online for the programmes offered by IMU and its campuses. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of ranks secured by students in the exam.

Yes, for most of the UG courses offered at Indian Maritime University, IMUCET is mandatory. DNS, BSc Nautical Science, and B.Tech courses demand an eligible IMUCET rank. One needs to register online, sit for the exam, and undergo counselling. But BBA courses can be exempted from IMUCET based on the policy of the current year.

No definite cut-off is there, but a good rank in IMUCET enhances your prospects at Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training (HIMT) College Chennai. Mostly, candidates who score more than 80–90 marks out of 200 have a good chance. Final selection also hinges on interview and medical test.

Yes,  International Maritime Institute Greater Noida accepts IMUCET marks for admission to the BTech course. The IMU Common Entrance Test (CET) is the basis for admission to these programs and seats are allotted through the IMU CET guidelines. For B.Tech in Marine Engineering at IMI Noida, a good IMUCET score is required, while general category students must score in the top 700 for admission. The IMUCET exam is conducted in online mode and the result is the marks obtained and the grade obtained in the exam.
