What should I do among B.Tech and MCA in order to become a software engineer?

I scored 62% in class 12th. Should I take a 2nd year of study gap after 12th or pursue BCA now? From where should I pursue BCA among Chandigarh University & IIMT, Greater Noida?

1st thing B.Tech stand for Bachelors in Technology. so your answer in this term 'technology'. obviously B.Tech CSE makes you a Software Engineer. and similarly MCA completely equivalent with B.Tech. so after MCA you will be called a software engineer and you should get all advantages of a B.Tech CSE graduate student have.
