Create your account and register yourself on the ets.org/gre website. This is the official website of GRE, you will find relevant information which includes syllabus, pattern, test dates, test preparation materials etc. To begin the preparation, take a lot of practice or mock tests, it will help you understand where you currently stand and revise accordingly. Keep visiting your desired university websites and check the minimum GRE requirements, it is important you have a target while you are preparing. 6 months should be enough if you are consistent and dedicated to your preparation. All the best.
