In my opinion if u can work hard and put effort u need not go for coaching.. sites like totalgadha.com and complore.co, will give u extensive material for free .. all u need to do is join some insti for just mock exams.. which helps u rate urself among competition..

the admission procedure for IIMs include CAT and then GDPI. for CAT prep, I would suggest you to join TIME or IMS. IMO, it should not take more than 6 months for you to prepare, so opt for TIMEs 1 year course.
