What should I do? I am interested in B.Tech but also want to become a sports person.

I am okay with doing B.Tech but I am a bit weak in maths. Also, I am good at sports. So, what should I do as not much time is left to get admission in universities?

There is no better university for sports or B.Tech than Lovely Professional University. Eleven students from Lovely Professional University have been selected to represent India at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, which will be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021. Wrestling, Hockey Athletics, and Paralympics will all be represented by the athletes. This is the biggest number of students from an Indian private university ever selected for an Indian Olympic contingent. Manpreet Singh, the captain of India's men's hockey team and an LPU student, will be India's flag-bearer during the Tokyo Olympics' Opening Ceremony. LPU students make up six add

The same question may have come to the mind of our Gold medalist Olympic Javelin player Neeraj Chopra when he was ready to take admission in B.A. Programme and he choose Lovely Professional University. The University regularly organizes an all-India inter-university competition in which thousands of students compete. It has an Olympic-sized pool. Basketball and volleyball court for 510 players. There are also facilities for indoor games. If you are a national level athlete in any sport, you will be able to study there for free, as well as receive free food and lodging. There are numerous sports to choose from, including squash and tabl

Dear Hitesh, You should choose LPU for B.Tech as LPU also offers sports opportunities to its all students along with academics. LPU has been investing extensively in building world-class sports infrastructure and hiring top trainers to ensure our students bring laurels to the country. The efforts have started to show results now, with several of our students winning national and international competitions over the last few years. We are confident that many more students will follow the path of superstars like Manju Rani, Unnati Sharma, Amoj, Neeraj, and Nishad and make us proud in the years to come, added Mr. Mittal.

You should do sports management in the case. Even I am aspiring to become a touring car driver, but Motorsports is really expensive. So, an indirect way to become a sports person is to do sports management. It will enable you to work in this industry at competitive salaries and at the same time make contacts in this industry who can help u get into your desired sports provided that u possess the required talent. I am also doing the same in order to get into car racing through sports management. For example Juan Mata, Manchester United player, he completed his degree in sports management parallel to his football career.

Go for sports because you'll be happy with what you do. Engineering can be frustrating if you aren't sure about it.
