What should I do? I am interested in film making and I want to become a film maker but my parents think I should have a backup.

I am currently in 12th from commerce stream.

    Yes, your parents are right. You should have a backup, because film making takes lots of time. So, join industry as assistant director learn techniques, and before that pursue Diploma course in Film making. And work hard to learn all the aspects of filmmaking read books observe people it makes you a good story teller.
