What should I do? I passed my B.Tech in 2016 & preparing for NMAT'17. Will this gap affect me in getting admission as I don't have any exp.?

Not really. I myself had a gap year with no work experience. This gap doesn't affect your admission as long as you justify the year and what contribution it made to your life. You can go ahead and prepare well for the NMAT'17.

A gap of one year will not affect your chances. You need to answer the questions confidently about why you took a gap of a year in the PI.
