What should I do? I want to do B.Tech in CSE and I am getting CSE in VIT, Vellore but I want to pursue it from BITS.

But I know that I will not be able to clear the cut-off of BITSAT for CSE. I studied in Birla Public School and it has a reservation for top 5 students in its B.Sc course. What should I opt for?

Dear Rahul, First of all I would like to wish you all the best, I wish you are able to clear BITS. But if not, then LPU is the obvious next option. More than 300 companies visit LPU for CSE grads, More than 60 out of these offer above 10LPA
More than 60 are out of fortune 500 club
More than 60 are those which hire only from IITs but come only to LPU outside of them. The highest packages have been about 42 LPA
The average is about 5.4 LPA
And placement record is upwards of 90%. How does LPU pull it off? # Curriculum development
    # Teaching pedagogy
    # Technologies like SAP, advance excel etc. # Entrepreneurial projects
    # Community projects
    # Inte

The CSE branch is awesome choice. The department of CSE in BITS Pilani is great. You can get CSE in any college but bits Pilani is heaven. Don't compromise. Sundar Pichai did his b tech from IIT Kharagpur but his trade metallurgy. Now he is CEO of Google.

To get B.Tech in BITS, you need to excel in BITSAT. If you are sure that, you'll be able to clear BITSAT. Then go for it. Otherwise, CSE in VIT is also good. You can go with that too.

Hi, If you are seeking admission in computer Science and engineering branch then I would like to say if you can't clear BITSAT then take admission in VIT. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else.

    Hi Rahul,
Why are you leaving CSE in VIT, it's a good college with excellent teaching and better placements. It's not better than BITS. To get admission in BITS, you've to write entrance exam of BITs and secure good rank there, so that you'll get into BITs.
