What should I do if I am not able to score good marks in weekly tests even after studying hard? How can I know where am I lagging?

Telling about the academic performances, in 10th I scored 92% and in 12th I scored 95% in the Board Exams. Now I am doing coaching for JEE Preps. My marks are not very satisfying.
