What should I do if I want to apply in NIFT after 12th? Is there any training applicable before that?

Hi Anshu, Self assessment is the key. You should self assess and understand whether you need to take formal training before the exam. It is advisable to take training for the following reasons 1) the competition is high, hence there is no harm in seeking guidance for preparation if it makes u more confident and skilled 2) like any other competitive exam IIT medical etc. ). NIFT also has its set pattern and hence, training will only help you answer the paper well. There are correspondence courses that you can opt for and learn at the comfort of your home.
