Hello himanshu,
If hostel is booked then before10 days of your arrival you will get all the details of your hostel room. Randomly rooms are allotted so it's difficult to live together. other tja. Campus hostel boys live in shantinikatan hostel near to college and girls live in sai hostel.

Hi Himanshu. If you want to change up with your hostel booking you can directly call to admission cell where they help you out to cancel your booking if it can be done. You will be given a floor which will be dedicated to your respected institute then it can be happen that you can get roommates which will be in your class. Mostly student take rented flats which are available outside the campus. But my advice go with college hostel. It will ease your life for 1st year of hectic schedule. Chances are more that your roommates will be your classmates. Overall every semester your section would be changed. Students do prefer flats or outside
