What should I do in +1 and after +2 if I want to be an IAS Officer and want to join politics after that?

I am in 10 class. I get above 90% marks in all subjects. But I get highest marks in social science. I like to study political science.

    Hi, first of all appreciating your idea to become a IAS officer. To become IAS officer you have write UPSC exam after your degree. You can do any degree depend on your interest. UPSC exam is a combined exam for the various govt officials like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS ect,. Your position will be determined with your marks and your interest. You have to write UPSC preliminary exam after your degree. Its a objective type exam. If you clear in that then next level exam is main exam. Its a written exam. And then finally personal interview.     Hi Gursirat,
    There is no relationship between any academics course with IAS preparation.
    You can opt for +2 Arts and can learn political science and later on take political science as major in graduation.
    Note : For IAS you need to work hard as the exam covers large area of study. please refer its syllabus for better understanding.
