What should I do? Is english important for MBA?
I am an engineering student but I want to do a management course. My CGPA is 6.87. My english is not too good.

Around 70% of the students pursuing MBA has an engineering background , so don't worry. Yes proficiency in English is important for MBA as you would have to score well in VA section to get gd/pi calls from premier MBA colleges. Once u have got the call , its your ability to communicate that will help u crack the personal interviews and perform well in GD.
Only thing you need to do now is prepare for CAT and other entrance exam. You should give equal importance to both Verbal and quants as there are sectional cutoffs. If you feel you are weak in verbal then start concentrating on English more - read newspaper, magazines, some go...more -

8 years agoThe proficiency of English is to be kept reasonable levels. Your writing and speaking must be fluent and free from mistakeas. MBA goes well with Engineering for job purposes.
