What should I do now?

I am a 12th student and want to make a career in B.Sc in biotechnology but my parents are forcing me to pursue law as there are no placements in biotech.

Well, B.Sc Biotechnology is also one amongst the traditional courses, but yes it is definitely a good course. However, when you measure the same with Law it definitely is beyond comparison, as both have different implications on career. However, Law as a course has gained much popularity in the past
