Dear friend, First of all, don't lose your hope. I know it's very tough to handle the pain of back papers but every end is a new beginning. Work hard and clear these papers. And also, work hard for the next semester and trust me, there is no substitute of hard work.

Obviously, you should work hard and try to get your exam clear for subjects in which you fail. You can give second, third or even fourth attempt for papers you have failed in. But, try to keep these attempts as less as possible.
