    Hello,
    To become an English Lecturer you will have to follow a certain process which I described below -
    Complete graduation in English subject and then enroll for the master's programme. Apply for the UGC NET Exam. This exam is conducted by NTA to check the eligibility of an aspirant for lectureship and for the Junior Research Fellowship. After qualifying this exam, you will get the certificate that can be used to apply in colleges and institutes for lectures. I hope it helps.

    Do everything that Vikash has said and if you like, it I would recommend you also to give UGC NET and SET exams. They are competitive which help you get better job in education sector.

    Complete your undergraduate degree in English literature or in the related field.
    Apply for Master's degree in English literature.
    Complete the application process for Ph.D program in English literature.
    Publish papers and other original researches.
    Search for open positions at colleges and universities a year prior to your graduation.
