When we talk about a news station, it is important to tell about its start. To be a news anchor in India, student can study Bachelor of Journalism, MAJMC or MJMC degree. For this job you need mix of study, skill and some experience. Here are some step to follow if you want be a news anchor:
Get a Bachelor Degree: It not always need, but journalism or mass communication degree help you learn news reporting, media ethics and other stuff.
Practice Talking Good: News anchor should talk clear, say words right, and explain things easy. You can practice public speaking, voice, and presentation skill.

Many employers prefer news anchors with a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, mass communication, or journalism, although communications and similar majors are acceptable. The coursework for these programs is liberal arts-based with a mixture of writing classes and speech classes. If specializations or minors are available in broadcasting, a student may need to complete the applicable classes in order to become familiar with television news and production.
