What should I do to become a software engineer?
I am in 11th class at present.

You are advised to take physics, chemistry and maths as subjects in 10+2 stage. If your school allows you may take computer science as additional subject in class 11 and 12th. You may prepare and appear in Engineering Entrance Examinations after 10+2 to fulfill your dream of becoming a Software Engi

It's not so hard to become a software engineer nowadays.
First of all, focus on your marks and get a good college or university.
I'm in a situation to advise you that you have to learn JAVA or any other programming language while you are free
