    Hi,
    You should complete your Masters in English, then go for B.Ed and apply for CTET or stet for getting into a teaching profession.

    Hello,
    To become a Lecturer in English you have to complete the Masters degree in English. It is a basic eligibility criterion to become a lecturer in India. After pursuing the postgraduation, you should apply for the National Eligibility Test. The test is conducted by the National Testing Agency twice a year to select the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship.     If you want to become a School Level Lecturer in English or even in College MA English with 55% is required. Pass the Respective State Level Eligibility Test for Schools and also get a B.Ed. in English.
    for College- UGC-NET Exam is there to be cleared.
