Complete your graduation with more than 55% marks. Prepare for CAT and score more than 99 percentile in it to get a call from IIM for PI. During your final year of graduation prepare well for CAT, join coaching classes and solve mock papers as many as possible.

    Hi Pranav,
A great background encompasses excellence in both academic as well as extracurriculars. You should focus first on completing your graduation with a good score and try choosing a stream other than engineering because there are extra marks for academic diversity. Next, try to participate in various other competitions like Olympiads, debates etc. which would help you enhance your other skills.
The admission to IIMs happens through CAT so please start working on your aptitude in your graduation year only. Having a strong background would definitely give you an edge over others.
    All the best.
