If you are interested in networking, you need to pursue courses like CCNA. Because, BCA focuses more on computer applications alone as opposed to networking. If you have a good foundation in networking you can get a certification and get started immediately. A certificate from a good organization ad

There are several books for your reference for CCNA course. I have heard good reviews about the CCNA Study Guide by TODD Lamle. But, eventually it will narrow down to your choice. All the books have the same material eventually, just the style of the content differs.
