    Yes, you can apply for government jobs because you have completed BA in English literature degree.

    1)School Service Commission
    2)IBPS and SBI entrance exam
    3)Civil service exam
    4)CDS exam
    5)Staff Selection Commission Exam

    There are plenty of jobs available for students who have completed their graduation in Psychology with English. A few of the main exams are held by SSC and UPSC. Those who wish to apply for the position of teachers or lecturers can apply for the UGC CSIR NET or the SET exam. The Defense Service is one such area that takes in students after they have completed their graduation.
