After class 12th, you can apply for NDA entry conducted by UPSC. You can also apply for entire such as AFCAT CDSE, NCC. Once you clear your SSB interview, you get call letter based upon vacancies and your merit.

There are two options to get into IAF as an officer:
1. Through NDA after 12th
2. CDS while doing engineering
