National Defence Academy is an iconic institution and hallmark of global excellence in the sphere of military education. It is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra. You are advised to appear for NDA examination conducted by UPSC twice a year to join Indian Air Force as an officer. On successful completion of the three-year course at NDA, you will be trained at Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. After completion of one year of training at AFA, you will job as a Commissioned Officer in Indian Air Force. -
You should simply get minimum 60% in your class 12th examination, and then you should apply for National Defense Academy examination, if you cleared the written examination, then you will be called for SSB interviews, if you get recommended over there as well, then you have the medicals, and if you clear your medical, then you get your joining for NDA as an air force cadet.
