What should I do to pursue B.Tech mechanical through lateral entry after completing Diploma course?

My state government is giving any permission to pursue B.Tech mechanical through lateral entry after completing Diploma.

    If you meet the eligibility criteria, then you can take admission in any of the colleges in B.Tech Lateral entry in Mechanical. Good Luck.

    At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for the same. As per the Eligibility criteria for B.Tech Mechanical Lateral Entry is to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. So, apply for LPU NEST and qualify it. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps :

    Hi Manojkumar,
    You have not mentioned in which branch you have taken Diploma. Your statement that your state government is not giving lateral entry is difficult to believe. I feel there is some communication gap. Normally, there is a matrix which tell possible branches for lateral entry based on branch of Diploma. Please have a relook at this. You can of course take lateral entry in a private college.

    JOB options are mentioned below. JE job in Indian Railway through RRB Exam. Job in PSU through Written exam & Interview. Jobs in central government organisation through SSC. Jobs in state government. Through State PSC exams.
