See, if you want to get into the top government colleges then you can apply for JEE Mains but if not and want a college that is in the vicinity of your home and you can afford private college fee then you can simply choose one and take admission in whichever branch you need via management quota.

You must appear for national and state level engineering examinations like JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEE, UPSEE etc. after checking the eligibility criteria for each of the examinations.

Hello Amit,
I would suggest you to appear for IIT JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/T
