For being an IPS you need to be a graduate in any stream.
UPSC organise exams for IPS. No matter what stream is your, crack UPSC exam n be an IPS. Start your prep. read national daily. watch news channels especially DD news. cut and paste important info n news. Magazines like india today and pratiy
