What should I do to pursue Masters in psychology? Which course should I choose among MSc and MA? How can I pursue them?

I have done BE in CSE and I am currently an engineer. I want to study psychology as I am highly interested in social psychology. Should I opt for distance learning program to pursue PhD in future?
