Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for the same programme. The career in hospitality management ranges from being an entrepreneur and starting your own company or consultancy to work on managerial posts, as chef or in housekeeping. Hotel management deals with the overall administration and management of a hotel, resort or any other hospitality business. The career in hospitality management ranges from being an entrepreneur and starting your own company or consultancy to work on managerial posts, as chef or in housekeeping. Hotel management deals with the overall administration and management of a hotel, resort or any other hospitality business. I did my MBA at LPU and it has helped me grow professionally and also add a lot to my career growth. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements, etc. Highlights of MBA at LPU are - 1) Accredited by ACBSP (USA). 2) Credit Transfer - Students after successful completion of 1 year at LPU may be given the option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of the programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. 3) International Exposure Option - Students may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Placements: Placements offered by the LPU for the MBA course are very good. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered till now is 42 LPA. Some of the companies where LPU students for MBA are placed are - AMAZON INDIA SOBHA REALTY TRIDENT GROUP VODAFONE FLIPKART CAVINKARE PVT. LTD. MBA in hotel management is worth only if you do it from abroad. Premier business schools in India do not offer MBA in hotel management, therefore, there is not much scope if you do it from India. You can do MBA in hotel management from abroad, then return to India and can earn good salary.
