Well the answer lies in your interest. A few pointers from my side
    1. MBA in HR is good for people who are sort of philanthropist in nature as they have to connect themselves with their employees and take rightful decisions whereas marketing is good for people having good convincing skills.
    2. There are lesser instances when people with MBA in HR have taken up the job of CEOs as opposed to marketing.
    3. Job market has more marketing jobs than HR.
    4. Marketing people are paid higher than HR.
    5. last but not the least, marketing involves more usage of what one learns in MBA rather than HR.

    Hi Anchal,
As rightly suggested by Suryap, while choosing the specialization the most important things that you should keep in mind, is your own interests and career aspirations. Marketing can be good for People with good communication skills, leadership qualities and who like traveling a lot. HR is for people who have great people's skills. It also involves lots of paper work and training & development. So depending on the area of your passion you can choose your specialization.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a “best answer”

    Hello,
Why don't you go for a dual degree where you can study both Marketing and HR? As a matter of fact, I am doing exactly that - pursuing a dual specialization in Marketing and Finance from Delhi Business School. I chose DBS because it is specially known for its unique dual degrees and I should add that i have had a very enriching experience so far!
For further information about the course, please log into their official website, http://www.dbs.edu.in/
