what should i prefer & focus on iss exam or GRE, what would be better phd or job? m msc final yr student of statistics.

the ISS would be held in decenmber i hear would it be possible for me to crack it in 1st tym.. m gud with statistics but UPSC is offcourse tough & competition no less. please guide me a lil more with this exam & its current pattern. regarding GRE i want to know till what tym is the score valid?

If you have the time, means and a flair for PhD then certainly it would be good for you. Besides it would also open more avenues for you in the education line.
